Our History
Hygeia Robotics is a smart home robotics startup based in Orlando, FL.
The company was founded in 2025 after Otniel, our founder, recognized a major gap in the smart home cleaning industry. At the time, nearly all autonomous home cleaning technology focused exclusively on floors. Everywhere he looked, innovation in the space was limited to vacuuming and mopping.
But Otniel understood that a truly clean home involves much more than spotless floors. Dust collects on countertops and desks. Kitchens get messy after every use and need wiping down. Bathrooms require the toughest routine work of all — scrubbing showers, bathtubs, and sinks. These everyday pain points remained completely unaddressed.
Hygeia Robotics was created to solve them.
